Alisha Lalani

Alisha Lalani is the Chief Growth Officer at Mae, where she leads business development for health plan partnerships across Medicaid, Individual and Family Plans, and Federal and State Employee Programs. She brings nearly 15 years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care, specializing in innovative pilots to support clinical, quality, and financial efficiency.

Prior to joining Mae, Alisha held roles at UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Evolent Health, Magellan Complete Care, and Molina Healthcare. Across these roles, she worked with plans and vendors to pilot and implement new products and offerings to support procurement bid strategy and priority focus areas, build out value-based care models, support cost-containment initiatives,  and innovate around health-related social needs.

Earlier in her career, Alisha supported access to reproductive, sexual, and maternal care for women in East Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. She also contributed to research projects with the University of California, San Diego and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she developed a logic model and evaluation framework for an infant mortality elimination project.

Alisha holds her MSc in Science and Maternal Child Health from Harvard School of Public Health and her BA in Women’s Studies and Global Health from Emory University.
