Timothy Ng is a Director of the Asia Healthcare Investment Banking team and is primarily responsible for coverage of pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

Prior to that, Timothy was the Vice President of HUTCHMED (Nasdaq/AIM:HCM; HKEX:13), a global, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company. He was responsible for corporate finance and development, and he worked closely with the CEO and senior management on capital market transactions of approximately $2bn (including the $615mm Hong Kong IPO in 2021, numerous completed U.S. offerings, General Atlantic’s PIPE & warrant investment, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board’s PIPE, Baring Private Equity Asia’s PIPE), financing strategy, investments and M&A, investor and public relations, financial planning and sustainability/ESG initiatives, and supporting ongoing R&D and commercialization activities.

Before joining HUTCHMED, Timothy worked at the Asia Healthcare Investment Banking team of Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C.

Timothy holds a Master of Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in international business and global management from the University of Hong Kong.
