Robert Kraft

Robert Kraft, founder, chairman and CEO of the Kraft Group, is a visionary entrepreneur, influential investor, and globally recognized philanthropist whose dynamic portfolio spans industries including paper and packaging, sports and entertainment, real estate development, and private investment.
Kraft launched his business career by acquiring Rand-Whitney Group, Inc. and transforming it into the cornerstone of what would become one of the largest privately held paper and packaging enterprises in North America and globally. Today, the Kraft Group’s industrial holdings are known for their global reach, operational excellence, and sustainable innovation.

In 1994, Kraft made sports history by purchasing the New England Patriots, ushering in an era of unprecedented excellence that includes 10 Super Bowl appearances and six world championships, the most of any ownership group in NFL history. In 1995, he co-founded Major League Soccer as one of the first three principal founders and investors and launched the New England Revolution, playing a pivotal role in growing professional soccer in the United States.

The Kraft Group also manages a robust portfolio of venture and private-equity investments and operates an in-house construction and development firm responsible for over $1 billion in world-class infrastructure, including the creation of Gillette Stadium and its adjacent entertainment and retail destination, Patriot Place.

Kraft has devoted his life to philanthropy, with family giving exceeding $900 million to causes ranging from education and healthcare to economic mobility and social justice. In response to rising hate across the country, he founded the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, committing over $150 million and launching the groundbreaking Blue Square campaign, a national movement urging Americans to stand up against antisemitism and all forms of hate. He is also a founding partner of the REFORM Alliance, a national nonprofit working to transform probation and parole laws and advance meaningful criminal justice reform.
